This folder is intended for message traffic to and from Polk County ARES.
The official ARES unit callsign is W7PLK.

NOTE: This note is duplicated in /W7PLK/PUBLIC/Messages/Readme.txt so it is externally accessible for reference. The details below apply to /W7PLK/Messages only accessible from the Mesh network. 

Messages addressed to Polk County should be dropped as files in /W7PLK/Messages/toPolkCo.
When they have been read, they will be moved to /W7PLK/Messages/Archive/Received. If an acknowledgement is requested, it will be sent (typically using the same method as the message was received). If a response is requested, it may be sent using a different means (WinLink, voice, etc) as appropriate.

Messages from Polk County will have a copy filed in /W7PLK/Messages/Arcbive/Sent

DO NOT LEAVE MESSAGES IN /W7PLK/PUBLIC/Messages.
